The Department of Infectious Diseases and Public Health was established in July 2017.  Its mission is to achieve and sustain excellence in teaching and research in veterinary studies through advancing the understanding of the interconnectivity of animal and human health.  The Department is well positioned to provide a strong link between the preclinical veterinary sciences and applied (clinical) veterinary medicine.
