Deputy Head of Human Resources Operations
Salary: £43,660 to £51,687 per annum - including London Allowance

The post holder will assist the Head of HR Operations in ensuring the provision of a high quality operational HR function delivering transactional HR to support the College. The post holder will manage the team of 13 staff providing support and advice as required on a wide range of issues while pushing the service forward. The successful applicant will also lead the College’s rewards and benefits agenda for its staff including job evaluation and pay matters, benefits including a work place nursery and they manage HR policy development and implementation. The post holder will also be expected to lead on other projects where relevant.
The successful candidate will work with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the College so the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relations is essential for this position.
The successful applicant will need to be CIPD qualified to level 7 and hold a degree. Significant experience of successfully managing a large team, of managing and improving rewards and benefits processes including job evaluation is required together with significant experience of successfully managing a wide range of HR projects through to completion. The successful applicant will also need to demonstrate extensive HR operational and strategic experience and experience of policy development and implementation. A strong working knowledge of employment law and its application and IT skills are also required.
Experience of working in the higher education sector would be desirable but is not essential for this role.
