Job Details
A Project Officer (PO) position is currently available in the School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences, NTU. This role is needed to support the research program, ASTAR IAF Industry Collaboration Programme (IAF-ICP).
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out physical vapour deposition (PVD) of ReRAM structures 300 mm wafer using ULVAC Entron system
- Conduct ReRAM electrical transport measurement using probe station or on bonded memory chip, ReRAM test measurement, e.g. endurance and ReRAM device fabrication using advanced lithography techniques, e.g. optical, and/or electron beam
- Carry out device process using reactive ion etching, and/or ion milling techniques
- Analyse structural, electrical and optical characterisation results, e.g. scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, energy dispersive X-ray, transmission electron microscopy, etc
- Perform ReRAM device packaging, i.e. wire bonding
- Assist in laboratory safety implementation, chemical waste handling
Job Requirements
- At least a Bachelor degree in relevant engineering or physical sciences
- Work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good scientific paper and intellectual property writing skills
- Semiconductor wafer development or manufacturing experience
- Hardware interfacing and control software development, e.g. Labview programming
- Computer-aided design of mechanical parts, i.e. CAD drawing
- Handle chemical waste and good understanding of workplace safety guidelines
