Job Description
The Penn Collaborative for CBT & Implementation Science at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine is pleased to announce an opening for a part-time (3 days per week) Clinical Research Coordinator-A. This research coordinator will support the online training operations of the Beck Community Initiative, a program focused on novel strategies to implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in community mental health care settings. Responsibilities include recruiting participants to engage in the training protocol; assessment of participant training outcomes according to the protocol time line; providing feedback and consultation to participants to enhance their learning; updating and adapting the web-based training to increase user experience and efficiency; maintaining all incoming audio files and data for various projects; maintaining multiple databases and data trackers; conducting internal monitoring efforts to ensure compliance with policies; conducting literature reviews and assisting with writing of manuscripts; and additional duties as needed. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, well-organized, team-oriented, and have experience in the administrative maintenance of training initiatives, program evaluation, or research studies. In addition, this candidate will have an interest in community mental health, implementation science, and/or cognitive behavioral therapy. Candidates who are fluent in Spanish and/or have experience with Articulate Storyline 3 are particularly encouraged to apply. The position is open immediately, and applications are being accepted on a rolling basis. The position will be for at least two years, with the second year contingent on funding at the end of year one.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a similar field of study plus 1 to 2 years of experience are required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will be very attentive to detail, have excellent interpersonal skills, have strong data management skills and computer competence; be willing to work as a team player, be self-starting and be able to monitor time allocated to different tasks. In addition, the ideal candidate will have an interest in community mental health, implementation science, the intersection of technology and mental health, and/or cognitive behavioral therapy. Candidates who are fluent in Spanish and/or have experience with Articulate Storyline 3 are particularly encouraged to apply.
