Job Description
The Executive Coordinator will act as the primary contact for all administrative activities (calendar management, reimbursements, travel, presentations, CV updating, and high-level projects) for the Chair of the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology and the Director of the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He/She will represent the Chair and Directors’ daily interactions with visitors, collaborators, senior management, staff, external colleagues, etc. With minimal direction, this person will oversee the daily operation of the Chair and Directors’ office. This role requires a high level of independence, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize and pursue multiple simultaneous tasks in a time-sensitive manner. As a senior staff member, the Executive Coordinator will also participate in other Department and Center activities, e.g., fundraising and communications. The ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive issues is also required. He/She will also provide calendar management to the Director of Finance and Director of Academic Operations. The Executive Coordinator will also provide support to the Chair and Directors’ research portfolio and extramural activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
