The University’s Accommodation Service is seeking a Residence Life Assistant to support the Accommodation Service in providing programmes to build community within the Halls of Residence.
The University of Greenwich has approximately 2,400 students living within Halls of Residence, about 1,100 living at Avery Hill, 950 at Greenwich and 350 at Medway. The Residence Life (ResLife) events programme exists to build a community within Halls and add a social aspect to these communities.
The main purpose of this new role is to assist the Accommodation Services’ staff working as the Resident Life Coordinators, in partnership with the Greenwich Students’ Union (GSU), in providing and promoting a programme of events and activities for students living in Halls.
The role will be primarily focused on the Student Village at Avery Hill but may also involve assisting with the coordinating and promotion of events at the other campuses.
The hours will vary depending on the time of year and the number of events taking place and will run from the end of August 2020 until the end of May 2021. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
