Job Description Summary

The Research specialist B in T cell engineering Laboratory (TCEL), part of the June Lab, will conduct preclinical studies of adoptive T cell immunotherapies for cancer. Major responsibilities will include assisting lab director, lab manager and postdoctoral researchers in translational work with general laboratory techniques (tissue culture, flow cytometry, molecular biology, western blot, immunological techniques).

Job Description

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or a related field (e.g. molecular/cell biology, immunology) and 1 to 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A Master’s Degree would be beneficial. Experience in a molecular biology and/or immunology laboratory is strongly preferred. This position may on occasion involve work on weekends or University holidays in order to carry out experimental duties. Good verbal and written communication skills are required. Excellent organizational and record keeping skills are necessary.
