Applications are invited for appointment as Part-time Senior Clinical Practitioner (several posts) in Periodontology of the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 501744), to commence in September 2020 until August 31, 2021, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree or equivalent, a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree or equivalent in Periodontology, and be a registered dentist in Hong Kong. Specialist registration in Periodontology in Hong Kong and experience in teaching are highly desirable but not essential. Applicants should have proven clinical competence in diagnosis and comprehensive treatment planning, and delivery of high-quality periodontal treatment in both primary care setting (general dental practice) and referral practice (specialist practice). They should also be a good team player, enthusiastic, and motivated to make a positive change in healthcare for Hong Kong people by contributing to excellent education of BDS as well as interested in teaching and learning.
The appointees will deliver the curriculum in Periodontology to BDS students, provide clinic supervision and contribute to administrative duties in the Faculty. Enquiries about the duties of the posts should be sent to Professor W.K. Leung at firstname.lastname@example.org.
