Job Description Summary

This position will support research activities within the Department of Medicine, Division of Translational Medicine and Human Genetics. The position will be full time (40 hrs./week) and is grant-funded.

The research coordinator will responsible for assisting with study recruitment and enrollment, including development of study materials, review of patient medical record to assess patient eligibility, documenting reasons for ineligibility, coordinating interactions with the clinical genetics company, monitoring billing, contacting unresponsive patients by phone and updating patient study statuses in Epic and RedCap. Additionally, the RC will assist with database entry, optimization and development as well as attend weekly staff meetings, providing weekly up-dates on recruitment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
