Applications are invited for a medical statistician or epidemiologist with strong statistical expertise to join the team based in the Musculoskeletal Research Unit in Bristol Medical School. You will join a multidisciplinary group of epidemiologists, statisticians, musculoskeletal clinical academics and researchers carrying out impactful research into musculoskeletal conditions, their treatment and outcomes. This post will primarily utilise large routinely collected healthcare data analysis with observational study designs.

You will conduct data management of large health databases, write study protocols and statistical analysis plans, conduct advanced statistical modelling and write up research outputs in the form of academic papers for publication and conference presentations as lead and co-author. You will also contribute to the development of future grant applications by the team.

You will be appointed full-time as a Senior Research Associate and will be part of the Bristol Medical School, Translational Health Sciences.
