Applications are invited for the following posts in the Faculty of Business and Economics:

Teaching Assistants for (1) Economics Programme (Ref.: 501732), (2) Finance Programme (Ref.: 501734), and (3) Marketing Programme (Ref.: 501735) (to commence in late August 2020 for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

For post (1), applicants should possess a good Master’s degree in Economics or Finance, or a related discipline. Those who have prior teaching experience would have an advantage.

For post (2), applicants should possess a good Master’s degree in Finance or Economics, or a related discipline.  Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, CAIA or prior teaching experience would be an advantage.  Excellent quantitative skills in mathematics and computer programming is required for part of the positions.

For post (3), applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.  They should have good branding and marketing skills.  Those who have experience in marketing and client servicing in the commercial and business setting or prior teaching experience would have an advantage.

All applicants should also possess excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills in English.  Communication skills in Chinese would be an advantage.

The appointees will work with the course instructors and the Programme Office to conduct tutorials and workshops in English for postgraduate courses, prepare course materials, support programme administration, classes and exams; and perform any other duties as assigned. They will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus.
