Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 500446), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

The selected candidate will work in a company incorporated by the University of Hong Kong that was established to administer and support the University’s innovation endeavors.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree with a very strong background in artificial intelligence, big data or other related disciplines.  They should have excellent communication skills, experience in knowledge sharing, a good record of research output, and the ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team.  Experience in artificial intelligence and big data research will be highly desirable.  The appointee will participate in applied and methodological work in a Big Data Laboratory, and technology transfer of advanced artificial intelligence in the field of infectious disease research.  Information about the School can be obtained at http://sph.hku.hk/index.php.
