Job Purpose
Working as part of a small admin team, the successful candidate will undertake all administrative and other tasks required to ensure the smooth running of actuarial apprenticeship programmes. They will provide a high level of customer service and excellent support for the apprenticeships team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Apprenticeship Coordinator and apprenticeships team with the running of the Level 4 and Level 7 actuarial apprenticeships
- Performing routine administrative tasks including operation of standard office equipment
- Dealing promptly and efficiently with telephone and email queries from learners, employers, BPP staff and external bodies
- Ensuring that learners receive an excellent service from the apprenticeships team in all aspects of our service
- Assisting the other members of the apprenticeships team when required
- Completing other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required to ensure the smooth running of the Abingdon office (mainly within, but not limited to, the apprenticeships team)

Candidate Criteria
- A good team player
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Efficient, with high accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and willing to take the initiative
- Aptitude to work without direct supervision
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt and successfully multitask
- Excellent IT skills – Word, Excel, Internet, databases
The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
