UCB are seeking to recruit an individual with a background comprising relevant industry experience, coupled with experience of supporting learning, to join our teaching team as a Lecturer in Strength and Conditioning, within the School of Health, Sport & Food.

The School is experiencing a growth period, with a number of new sports programmes and facilities in recent years.  A new bespoke strength and conditioning teaching facility, with human performance lab, opened in January 2020. This facility includes power racks, integrated force plates, anti-gravity treadmill, range of Keiser equipment, sled track and 36m running track in addition to a range of supporting equipment. 

The successful candidate will provide expertise and the ability to teach across a range of subject areas, which may include: Anatomy; Biomechanics; Nutrition; Olympic Lifting; Physiology; Research.
