Project Officer, 4D Printing Using Stereolithography

Job Details

Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work on a project to conduct the research on development of 3D printing resin with nano fillers used in Stereolithography apparatus
  • Prepare samples, characterization of samples, perform printing work, assist team on experimental and documentation work

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemistry, Physics or related field
  • 6 months research experience in related area
  • Expertise in resin based polymer 3D printing
  • Experiences with commercial SLA printers like Asiga
  • Publication track record is an advantage
  • Knowledge in basics of chemistry and polymer materials fundamentals
  • Proficiency in English​

About Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF)

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
