The Role

Student Services are now seeking a Student Support Officer to join the team. Reporting to the Director of Student Services, the successful candidate will lead the Student Support Division, taking a central role in the provision of supports for students, and managing the staff in the Student Support Office including, the Chaplaincy Service, the Budgeting Advice Service, the Student Health Centre, the HomeFinder Service and the Student Support Hub.

Applicants for the post should have excellent organisational, people, communications and IT skills. The successful candidate will have experience of providing one-to-one solution-focussed and co-ordinated support to students/young people, in a sensitive and confidential manner. He/she/they will also have a proven ability to lead and manage teams who deliver busy and varied services.

Salary

Administrative Officer I (Post 1995)* €49,177 - €70,121 p.a. (9 points)

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.

New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the Administrative Officer I scale.
