The Faculty of Engineering & Technology seeks to appoint a Project Manager to lead the Eco-I North West project.

The Eco-I North West project is a business support project, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The Project Manager will be responsible for identifying and evaluating commercial opportunities and exploitation routes to support business growth and increase productivity for SMEs within the project. This project runs to June 2023 subject to the approval of ERDF funding.

You will support the Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory to deliver an extensive programme of research activity to a high and measurable standard. Key to this role will be the effective co-ordination of a substantial number of business-university collaborations that lead to long-term relationships and successful and tangible outcomes, working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and partner organisations.

In addition, you will also be involved in raising the profile and promoting the activities of the project, supporting the implementation of targeted marketing campaigns and planning and attending key events, seminars and networking opportunities.

works with business, we have entered into a new partnership with the maritime industry to create a unique global knowledge hub to bridge the shortage of skills in the engineering and maritime sector. The hub will be further strengthened by a new Manufacturing Technology Centre to build knowledge and understanding about the manufacturing technologies.
