This is an exciting opportunity to join the University’s multidisciplinary Department of Business, Law and Society. The Department currently offers programmes including BAs in Business Management, Communications and Marketing, Criminology and Sociology, Law, and Politics, as well as innovative postgraduate courses in Sports Journalism, Charity Management, Diplomacy and International Relations, Human Trafficking, International Business Law and International Business Management.

The BA Communications and Marketing launched in September 2018 and incorporates pathways in data analytics, design, media and sport. The person appointed will join the Communications team and contribute to the teaching and learning on the degree, technical support of student work and supporting staff in the Faculty. Involvement in the media and sports pathways, in particular, will be key to the postholder’s duties.

We invite applications from outstanding candidates with experience of film production, post-production and technical support. We are particularly keen to recruit a candidate with industry experience as well as knowledge of HE institutions. The applicant would be responsible for supporting students on all production modules and on individual projects requiring technical support and media resources.
