Job Details
NTU Main Campus, Singapore
School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform multiple scale numerical simulations and analyses on the physical-chemistry process of the LiBr absorption cooling system
- Carry out the system level optimization on the basis of the thermodynamic analysis of the multiple heat or mass transfer process in the advanced absorption chiller
- Publish research papers and assist in writing the project report
- Assist the Principal Investigator (PI) and his co-investigator in the supervision of junior research staff, graduate and undergraduate students in the research team
- Perform all related assignments and studies as directed by the PI from time to time
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field
- Minimum 1 year post-doctoral experience
- Knowledge in multiple scale LB numerical modeling
- Familiar with molecular dynamics simulations
- Possess rich skills in coding in Fortran/C/C++ and high-performance computing
- Strong experience in thermodynamic analysis of heat and mass transfer
- Excellent record in publishing research papers
- Expertise in deep learning will be an advantage

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:

• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
