We are now seeking to appoint a Finance Director with a proven track record of leading accounting and financial services in large, complex organisations.

Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor (who is also the Chief Executive), the Finance Director is a member of the University’s Executive Leadership Team, responsible for finance, procurement, payroll and pensions. Our ideal candidate will be a proven contributor at executive team level, able to shape and lead our long term financial strategy, as well as support ongoing change across the University and within finance operations.

With experience of strategic and operational financial planning and advising on long term financing and commercial activity, you will be a professional qualified finance leader with a sharp eye for detail as well as a strong strategic orientation. A team player and an experienced manager of change, you will be enterprising, dynamic, resilient and ambitious for our University and will be a passionate promoter of a diverse and inclusive working environment.
