Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 500493), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in biology or a related discipline, with a strong background in animal science research. They should have a good command of written and spoken English, strong communication skills, and a demonstrated track record of publishing academic research papers. They should be self-motivated, hardworking, and able to work well in an interdisciplinary team. Strong research skills in evolutionary studies is essential. Research experience in swine coronavirus and African swine fever virus is highly preferred.
The appointee will join an interdisciplinary and international research team investigating the ecology, evolution and pathogenesis of swine coronavirus and African swine fever virus.
