CNRS-International-NTU-Thales Research Alliance (CINTRA) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow to work in the frame of a running research project supported by the French ANR agency and in collaboration with CNRS partners in France.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the fabrication of the devices to be delivered for the project
- Management of the Work Package devoted to CINTRA
- Interacting with the different partners of the project
- Writing the progress reports for the project
- Participating in the writing of proposals for national level grants (MoE, ASTAR, etc)
- Writing publications and drafting patents related to the project
- Supervising students/interns related to the project
Job Requirements:
- PhD holder in Electrical Engineering or Material Sciences from a reputable university
- Minimum 3 years of experience in research in university or company
- Skilled in nanomaterials and micro/nanodevices fabrication process in clean room
- Familiar with micro-fabrication facilities such as mask aligner, e-beam evaporator, reactive-ion etching (RIE), inductively coupled plasma (ICP), Chemical vapor deposition (CVD) growth, and flip chip bonder
- Skilled in controlled synthesis of nanostructures (silicon, oxide, carbon)
- Skilled in materials and electrical characterization, Raman Spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, etc
- Knowledge in microwave passive devices is advantageous

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:

• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
