Job description

The Lecturer (Education) will undertake teaching in the area of Mental Health Nursing at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and to contribute to the School’s administration/outreach activity. You will also maintain a portolio of appropriate scholarly activity and contribute to School administration/outreach activity (AC3 level only).  

The successful candidate must have:

  • Primary degree in Mental Health Nursing or a related subject.
  • Higher degree (Masters or equivalent in a relevant subject area)
  • Current registration status with the Mental Health Council as a Registered Midwife or possession of the qualifications required for such registration.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Evidence of ability to publish
  • Evidence of scholarly activity e.g. conference paper presentations, external funding secured, book reviews published, writing practice manuals, publication of professional materials. (AC3 level only).
