Full-time:  35 Hours per week

The School of Health and Life Sciences is one of the largest integrated schools combining health and life science programmes. Our graduates make an immense contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of communities across the globe. As part of our exciting developments Paramedic Science will be added to our portfolio for September 2020. The successful applicant will join an inter-disciplinary team delivering the programme at our state-of-the-art facilities at Lanarkshire campus.

As an experienced health professional, you will hold a professional registration as a Paramedic, as well as experience in learning and teaching in higher education.  A PhD in a health-related area (or be working towards this) and a postgraduate qualification in education/teaching and learning, and/or HEA fellowship are desirable.

As a Lecturer, you will make a significant contribution to the student experience through delivery of teaching across a number of modules within the Biological Science and Health division driving inter-disciplinary learning across the School. You will also contribute to the local, national and international research and knowledge exchange activity of the subject area.

As an experienced practitioner joining this dynamic academic team, you will also work closely with our health board partners to support undergraduate students within a range of student learning environments.
