The research project is in collaboration with industry on fermentation and scale up of production of microalgae.
Job Description
- The successful candidate will contribute to the research and execution of a research project on fermentation and scale up of production of microalgae.
- Facilitation in research project planning and provide support for all project-related activities
- Assist PI in procurement of equipment and consumables
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- The candidate is expected to have a Bachelor degree in Science/Engineering or related fields
- Relevant education background or research background in food science and technology are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Preferably with at least 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Good team player with good communication & interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and willingness to learn

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
