The University of Surrey is seeking 2 Programme Managers to join the University to deliver an ambitious transformation portfolio within the University. These are senior positions within the University working directly into a senior transformation Director and Board level programme sponsors. The Programme managers will be responsible for the overall, end-to-end delivery of initially one programme each, with the potential to move to a portfolio approach as the University develops its aspirations.
You will be an experienced dedicated programme delivery professional, able to deliver corporate systems, culture change and process improvements, while managing stakeholders and the internal and external reputation of the programme. At the heart of this work is the student experience which drives forward positive change within the University and will underpin the core of the role.
Post holders will coordinate workstreams/projects and resources within their programme, working closely and communicating regularly with key stakeholders. You’ll ensure clear reporting on project status, risks and issues and that communication mechanisms are place and ensure robust financial management of the portfolio.
Current programmes involve service culture, ticketing, workflow and customer service/CRM implementations, and an ambitious Learning Analytics programmes focused on dramatically improving the learning outcomes for our students. While both programmes would benefit from Higher Education experience, the University is looking for strong experience in Higher Education (preferably but not exclusively with Learning Analytics experience) for one of these roles.
