Overview

The Levin research lab is looking for an hourly research assistant to explore the variational free energy modeling efforts of Karl Friston as applied to COVID-19 and to explore the issue of scaling, and possibly renormalization, in the development of COVID-19 models.

Responsibilities

  • Explore the modeling approach
  • Evaluate the claims
  • Write a white paper and identify what differences result in clustering individuals into groups of various sizes in the predictive capacity of the models

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; advance degree preferred
  • Experience in data modeling
