Reporting to the Dean of Programs (Nursing and Midwifery), the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor will contribute independently and as part of a team to support the Academic Unit’s teaching and research outcomes and initiatives to maintain and develop scholarly, research and/or professional activities.

Appointment at Level B/C will primarily focus on coordination and teaching in the nursing discipline, with the opportunity to contribute to research activity and outcomes relevant to experience and research aspirations.

Appointment at Level D will make a significant contribution to academic leadership to support the Units teaching and learning initiatives in undergraduate, honours and postgraduate programs, advancing the research profile of the unit through program development and collaborative research supported by competitive research grant funding.

Skills and Experience

Applications are encouraged from emerging and accomplished academics with qualifications and experience relevant to appointment at Academic Level B, C or D, as referenced in the position description.
A PhD qualification in a discipline relevant to nursing, and current (or eligibility for) registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia are minimum essential requirements for all applicants.

Benefits on Offer

Salary ranges start at $100,184 (Level B) to $161,778 (Level D). Full ranges are available here.
