Job description

As part of our continuing ambitious expansion programme within the School of Pharmacy at Queen’s applications are now invited from outstanding individuals for a Lecturer position in the broad field of pharmaceutical sciences. The successful applicant will lead a competitive and world-leading research programme that will complement the ongoing research in the School and across the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences.  The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge educational programmes within the School and make a significant contribution in innovation in teaching and assessment.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
  • PhD or equivalent in a discipline relevant to the broad field of pharmaceutical sciences.
  • Minimum of three years’ research experience in a relevant field.
  • Recent, relevant publications in peer reviewed/refereed journals that are recognised internationally as being high quality, commensurate with experience.
  • Research profile that complements the research priorities of the School.
  • Relevant teaching experience at University Level.
