The Student Union (SU) is at an exciting point in its journey, having recently launched a new strategy, expanding the permanent staff team and investing in new systems, to make sure we can help students have the best experience whilst at City.

The role is term time only one in line with the university term dates with some flexibility required to assist with events such as graduation.

This post is part time (0.8 FTE), working 35 hours per week term time only.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Student Union Activities & Development Manager, this role involves taking payments, responding to enquiries, making rooms bookings for our societies, performing stock takes, as well as a range of administrative duties, all whilst delivering excellent customer service.

Person Specification

A role that provides a range of customer based on exciting and changing needs from our services, you will play a key role creating the first point of contact with our students.

Working in our reception and shop, the successful candidate will be friendly and have good communication skills with the ability to multi-task to get the job done.
