DAVID C. LAM INSTITUTE FOR EAST-WEST STUDIES (LEWI)
LEWI (http://lewi.hkbu.edu.hk) was founded in 1995 as a university-wide research centre at Hong Kong Baptist University to promote east-west research initiatives. One of its major themes is Environment, Health and Sustainability Studies.
Post-doctoral Research Fellow (PR0412/19-20)
The appointee will participate in research on environmental governance.
Duties:
a) Conduct research projects of his/her own instigation; and
b) Join an interdisciplinary research group led by Dr. Kevin Lo www.lokevin.com. The goal of which is to catalyse solutions in environmental policy and governance through knowledge creation and sharing.
Requirements:
- PhD in a related field (e.g., environmental studies, public policy, political science, geography, sociology, anthropology or law); and
- A good publication record.
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing in August 2020. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
