Postdoctoral Research Associate
The post-doctoral researcher will be working on an international collaborative project entitled ‘Targeting senescence to prevent, alleviate or delay multiple chronic age-related diseases’. The project will utilise laser microdissection, scRNA-seq or ATAC-seq, and ex vivo 3D in vitro models. Therefore, the successful candidate should have experience in 1 or 2 of these techniques. The successful candidate will join a group of researchers within the Ellison-Hughes lab. The researcher will be mainly based at Guy’s campus but will need to spend time with investigators at our Denmark Hill campus.
This post does not meet Home Office requirements that would qualify it for a Certificate of Sponsorship and consequently the university would be unable to offer sponsorship for a visa under Tier 2 of the points based immigration system to anyone appointed to the post.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 1 year within start date between 01/09/20-01/10/20 only.
This is a full-time role.
The selection process will include a panel interview.
