This position will report to the Principal Investigator(s) of the Lung, Head and Neck research protocol(s). The successful candidate will work closely with the disease group investigators to oversee all aspects of the protocol. This role requires a deep knowledge of database management. Database creation, abstraction, and data analyses is required. The Program Manager is expected to actively manage ongoing research projects, troubleshoot operational issues on a daily basis. Participate in study team meetings, disease site group meetings, and ongoing protocol training/compliance meetings, assist in the development/maintenance of study specific case report forms and source document tools, show vigilance in patient safety, protocol compliance and data quality. Working closely with community sites. Adhere to all University of Pennsylvania, FDA and GCP guidelines and have knowledge of IRB submission and guidelines. Review of project metrics (performance, portfolio, enrollment), and timely communication of significant challenges encountered on the project, and perform other duties as may be assigned.
Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
