The Liverpool Centre for Advanced Policing Studies is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic early career lecturer with an interest in teaching students on the Policing Studies, Criminology and Criminal Justice Foundation year. The post requires an interest in widening participation and a wider interest in social sciences. We are looking for either a publishing academic who has completed or is near completion of their PhD and/or an ex-practitioner with a proven track record or substantial interest in teaching. It also offers the scope to contribute to the academic work of the Liverpool Centre for Advanced Policing Studies linking policy and practice related teaching in the field of policing.   

You will be able to evidence teaching excellence and be able to contribute to our expanding policing portfolio. You should have degrees in a discipline or area of study that clearly links to policing, criminology and/or criminal justice and this should be coupled with an appropriate level of teaching experience.
