This position will provide leadership for Órama, the newly established Flinders Institute for Mental Health and Wellbeing and ensure the strategic directives and initiatives of the Órama Institute are implemented, with the assistance of the Deputy Director and Institute Manager. The Director will also have a prominent role within the College’s research leadership.
The Director will be a prominent research leader and is expected to apply for external fellowships/funding and support and undertake new research whilst fostering a strong research culture at both the discipline and University level, including building strong and productive relationships with industry and other tertiary institutions.
Please note: Pursuant to Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA) this position has been deemed prescribed. It is an inherent requirement of the position that the successful candidate maintains a current Working With Children Check which is satisfactory to the University.
A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will also be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
