Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.: 500411), to commence as soon as possible for 18 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or equivalent, and a strong background in Chemistry, Physics or Materials Science.  Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese, good organizational and leadership skills, a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently, and self-motivation are essential.  The appointee will work on the research area of “Development of Low-Dimensional Structures for Chemical and Electrochemical Sensing and Storage” under the supervision of Professor Z.X. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
