A Senior Research Fellow position is currently available at the School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences, Nanyang Technological University.

Job Requirements

  • Lead programme technical review and to monitor timely management of milestone completion, and develop mitigation plans when necessary
  • Monitor progress towards projects mandated KPIs
  • Carry out ReRAM electrical transport measurement using probe station, or on bonded memory chip, and able to conduct ReRAM test measurement
  • Lead the team’s effort in countering ReRAM device processing challenges, which include 300 mm wafer deposition, device lithography patterning, and RIE etching
  • Help foster a collaborative and innovation led environment within the Programme and implement a wider dissemination plan of the Programme technical work
  • Explore the potential applications of developed devices and to initiate new industry collaborations project

Job Requirements

  • PhD degree in relevant engineering or physical sciences
  • At least 10 years of relevant microelectronics working experience after PhD conferment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good scientific paper and intellectual property writing skills
  • Semiconductor wafer development or manufacturing experience

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
