Position Summary:

The Clinical Educator, Rural Training Pathway will coordinate and provide clinical education to medical students in rural and remote areas of SA and support rural GP and hospital supervisors. The position will involve collaboration with academics, clinicians and professional staff to coordinate and facilitate the training programs and assessment requirements for Doctor of Medicine (MD) students, with the primary focus on students in their final year.

The Clinical Educator, Rural Training Pathway will also be required to liaise with and/or report to various committees and attend clinical education and/or faculty meetings as required.

Please note: Pursuant to Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA) this position has been deemed prescribed. It is an inherent requirement of the position that the successful candidate maintains a current Working With Children Check which is satisfactory to the University.

A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will also be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
