UCA’s Business School for the Creative Industries combines innovation, creativity and idea generation into the heart of business education. With our specialist focus on the creative industries, the Business School is continuing to expand its international reach, collaborating with employers, educational partners and global leaders of the creative industries to understand their needs for the future.  We are focused on cultivating graduates with the skills in leadership, management, creative problem-solving and entrepreneurship that will support the creative industries to cement their place as some of the largest contributors to economic growth globally.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the next phase of the School’s development.  With a focus on positioning the School for future accreditations and developing education and employer partnerships to underpin the continuing success of the ambitious future strategy, you need vision and expertise to see this through.  As the School has nearly doubled in size over the last academic year, you will also be responsible for embedding the enhancement of learning and teaching, research and consultancy across the School, and will be expected to demonstrate significant capability in all these areas within a business school setting.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who can develop a compelling vision and take forward an ambitious strategy for the business school, bringing experience and strategic vision to the role and demonstrating a track record of high-quality leadership, research and consultancy. Candidates will need to demonstrate they are capable of achieving high level outputs through a sustainable, resilient and engaged approach to a senior leadership role with an empathy for a small specialist institution context.  We are looking for a leader to take the business of the global creative industries to the heart of the discussions of Business Education of the Future.
