This is an exciting opportunity to work at the interface of basic and clinical research in a rapidly growing field. We are looking for a highly motivated, meticulous individual to work in translational research in neurodevelopmental disorders using human induced pluripotent stem cell (IPSC) models.

The main responsibilities of the post holder will be to assist in the derivation of IPSC and perform characterisation, validation and quality control of IPSC, and assist in the culture and neuronal differentiation of reprogrammed human IPSC.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant translational research environment bridging clinical science, human pluripotent stem cell research and neurodevelopmental biology. Work will be undertaken in collaboration with the Human Embryo Stem Cell Unit and Neural Stem Cell Biology Lab at The Francis Crick Institute.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 January 2022.

This is a part-time post - 60% full time equivalent.
