Postdoctoral Research Associate in ultra-high field MRI RF Engineering
The Department of Biomedical Engineering, King’s College London seeks a Research Associate to work with Dr. Özlem Ipek on the development of novel RF coil technology for 7 Tesla human body MRI imaging. The main objective of this post is to develop and implement novel RF technologies for parallel transmit and receive Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The post holder will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing MRI hardware to 7 Tesla Siemens Terra MRI scanner. The post holder is expected to be part of a RF laboratory team working to develop advanced RF technology and methodology, particularly RF coils for parallel transmit and receive capabilities. The post will use the infrastructure provided by the School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences and will be based at St Thomas’ Hospital.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months or until 31 December 2021)
The selection process will include a panel interview, an assessment, a presentation.
