CONTENT PRODUCER, Solve, to join Solve, a marketplace for social impact innovation whose mission is to solve world challenges. Will serve as content curator for Solve’s annual flagship events, Solve at MIT and Solve Challenge Finals, by ensuring timely, engaging, and relevant programming for in-person and virtual experiences; and produce and edit content for Solve’s website, newsletters, media articles, marketing materials, etc. Responsibilities include serving as the content producer for key events by developing and leading content development and event programming; writing scripts for announcements and speeches; writing briefings and conducting briefing calls for speakers and moderators; overseeing the content portions of the master production schedule for events, planning out minute-by-minute content; managing Solve’s editorial calendar; serving as the primary staff writer and editor for the Solve community; overseeing guest and freelance writers and videographers; managing/updating the Solve style guide and evergreen marketing materials; serving as a copy editor across Solve’s teams and collateral for style and content; and performing other duties as needed.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least three years’ experience, including at least two in content production; experience managing global event content and working with high-level speakers; portfolio of writing samples that demonstrate relevant interest areas and a proven writing and editing skillset; ability to edit and copywrite for others with meticulous attention to detail; excellent communication and organizational skills; initiative; and ability to work independently, anticipate needs, prioritize and plan work, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
