Assistant / Associate / Professor (C1) of Philosophy

Category: High-level foreign teachers for teaching and research (Performing duties as a full-timer for 3 months and above each year)

First-Level Discipline: Philosophy

Second-Level Discipline: Marxist Philosophy, Chinese Philosophy, Foreign Philosophy, Ethics

Aesthetics, Philosophy of Science and Technology, Logic, Science of Religion, Political Philosophy

Responsibilities:

  • Independently provide 2 undergraduate or postgraduate courses annually.
  • Publish influential academic papers on top journals in the field.
  • Responsible for or participate in scientific research projects arranged by the school. 
  • Undertake other social services arranged by BNU and the school.

Hiring Criteria:

  • Meet the hiring criteria for Top Young Talents of Humanities and Social Sciences; Professor of Philosophy or researcher with a title equivalent to the title of Professor at a foreign university;
  • Publish more than 5 high-level academic papers on top journals at home and abroad and more than 2 high-level academic works;
  • With recognized achievements in the field, which carry significant academic impact;
  • Work as a full-timer in BNU for 3-8 months annually.
