The successful candidate will lead the dynamic and progressive team to develop midwifery education (pre-registration undergraduate and postgraduate) in line with NMC guidance, NMC updated standards and the Scottish Government Initiatives for midwifery practice. The successful candidate will require to be on the NMC register and will be appointed by the School into the NMC statutory role of Lead Midwife for Education.

Experience of effective leadership is integral to the role along with a track record in the development and delivery of midwifery education programmes.
