The Department of Management is one of four in our Business School and we are looking to appoint an outstanding academic as its Head. Reporting to the Dean the Head will be a member of the School’s Strategic Leadership Team and will actively contribute to the development and realisation of the School’s strategic plans in research, teaching, enterprise and internationalisation.

We are an ambitious School in a forward-thinking university and keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate a track record of academic leadership coupled with astute management credentials. Candidates will be recognised as an expert in their field, with research interests that complement and enhance those within the Department and the inter-disciplinary research within the School. An important facet of the role is the development of funding opportunities, it is important that candidates can demonstrate not only a personal track record but also an approach that encourages a culture that pursues relevant local, regional and national opportunities.
