Job share 0.5 FTE, 17.5 hour per week
(Week 1 Monday-Wednesday, Week 2 Thursday-Friday)
Grade 2 - £17,361 - £19,612 per annum pro rata
As a member of the Hub and wider Student Services administrative team, you will deliver a high standard of proactive customer service and enquiry management to students across a wide range of university services. You will respond to face-to-face, telephone and email enquiries, aiming to resolve a high proportion of enquiries at the point of contact.
You will also provide a professional and efficient administrative support service to student services teams including Funding, Disability, Careers and Counselling.
You will have 3 Standard Grades/National 5s or equivalent and have previous experience in a customer service/customer facing role in a highly customer focussed environment preferably in a help desk/information service.
With excellent team working skills, you will have the ability communicate effectively and to respond with understanding, diplomacy and sensitivity to student needs, work calmly under pressure in a busy environment, whilst delivering high quality work standards and excellent customer service. You will be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and have well developed IT and administrative skills.
This post will be based at Ayr Campus, however occasional travel to other campuses may be required.
The working pattern for this job share role will be weekly rotation:
Week 1 Monday-Wednesday 8.45am-4.45pm / Week 2 Thursday-Friday: 8.45 am-4.45pm
