Job Description Summary
This grant-funded position will support Dr. Sarah Kavanagh in specialized research activities including: data collection, data archiving, data blinding, data cleaning, database management, data analysis, report writing, disseminating research findings, and manuscript preparation.
This grant-funded position will support Dr. Sarah Kavanagh in specialized research activities including: data collection, data archiving, data blinding, data cleaning, database management, data analysis, report writing, disseminating research findings, and manuscript preparation. This research focuses on understanding how teachers learn about complex instructional practices and focuses particularly on discussion facilitation.
This position is contingent upon funding; current end date of funds is 12/31/2022.
A bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Master’s degree preferred. Experience with research, data collection, and data analysis required. Experience studying discussion facilitation is strongly preferred, as is experience conducting research with K-12 teachers and a background studying literacy teacher learning.
