Position Summary:

The Research Fellow will undertake grant-funded research in the Circular RNAs in Cancer laboratory (Flinders Cancer Research Centre) and the Laboratory for Human Neurophysiology and Genetics (SAHMRI) under the broad direction of the Chief Investigators. In working with the Chief Investigators and their research teams, the position will contribute to delineating the fundamental basis of and expanding treatment options for brain cancer using molecular biology, in vitro human models and in vivo mouse models of disease.

The Research Fellow will also be involved in the preparation of project activity reports and dissemination of research findings through generation of high-quality publications and conference presentations. The position will take a lead role in the preparation of competitive applications of external research funding and will supervise undergraduate/postgraduate students as well as laboratory staff.

A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
