POLICY AND COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATEAbdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), to develop digital communications for research and policy related to governance, crime and violence, education, and climate change, among other topics. This will include creating new digital web features to better communicate J-PAL’s work, developing email marketing campaigns for communication of research results and policy guidance, and producing digital content including videos and data visualizations. Will work closely with the Senior Digital Communications Associate and report to the policy and communications manager. 

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  a bachelor’s degree; two years of relevant work experience; comfort learning computer applications; detail-orientation; strong writing and strategic thinking skills; self-motivation; and ability to handle multiple projects at once with little supervision, effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and work in teams. Seek someone with an interest in pursuing a career in communications for nonprofits/public policy, as demonstrated by coursework and previous positions or internships. 

PREFERRED coursework in digital marketing, web development, and/or economics; and experience with web content entry (Drupal), HTML/CSS, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, and/or new media.  Job #18734
