This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful in-house legal team at Birmingham City University as a Property Solicitor (Estates and Facilities). The role offers an opportunity to add value to the University and operate as an integrated member of the University community.

Reporting to the Head of Legal Services, you will provide support and assistance to the legal department with the provision of a full legal service and be primarily responsible for the provision of day to day legal advice with a focus on property law matters. 

As the in-house Property role is a new role at the University, the postholder will be in a unique position to lay the foundations for successful in-house service provision to the University for years to come. This role is key to the legal provision at Birmingham City University.

You should be a qualified solicitor with a practicing certificate in the UK and significant post qualification experience. You must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of delivering property law advice.
